The porcelain lid, featuring a classic, vibrant bird and flower motif, is a unique highlight. What makes it truly special is that the porcelain material on the lid has been repurposed from a Chinese porcelain vase, giving it an organic form with an asymmetrical touch. Due to this repurposing, each piece becomes distinct, and no two are alike. In old China, lunch boxes like this were an essential item in every household. The multi-tiered design allowed for the storage of various dishes, making it easy to transport freshly cooked food to work sites or rice fields.
