There are two 1lb bags of wax & a good amount of plastic sleeves. The wax is hypo-allergenic, factory sealed & can be used up to 2yrs for an individual-while keeping lid sealed on spa tub after remaining wax has cooled. Unused wax has an indefinite shelf life as long as it is kept sealed & at room temps. You can purchase more wax &/or sleeves online at Walmart or Amazon. Perfectly hydrates & soothes your skin, including that it also acts as a heat therapy that relaxes muscles, increases bloodflow & relieves stiff joints! This is a fantastic addition to your physical care routine. I am the only owner, only used a couple of times over 2yrs ago, hands only. The spa tub has been thoroughly sanitized several times. It is wax so there will always be tiny bits of wax residue somewhere. It is easy to clean/sanitize. Sanitizing & care instructions are in owners manual. For any single person using, you can go a very long time, only cleaning when you're ready to put fresh wax in(depending on how often used, can be up to 1 or 2yrs). Box & manual included, always refer to your specific HoMedics paraffin wax spa manual for the most accurate cleaning instructions.
