2004 GMC Savana

I'm the second owner of the van having just purchased it Aug. 8, 2025. It was purchased with the the intent of my making use of the wheelchair lift on the side of the vehicle for personal reasons and that project is complete so now it's time to move this van along to a new owner. Only a few hundred miles have been put on it since my ownership. I have a Carfax report that I can share. No accidents nor recalls etc. It does show that the first owner had the transmission overhauled at 104,309 miles. A $400 battery was installed 7/21/2024. On 6/9/2025, the vehicle was serviced at a shop that did fuel injection throttle body cleaning and service and an oil change was done at that time and also a tune-up was done including putting in a new ignition coil distributor cap double Platinum AC Delco spark plugs and the like. Apparently when the battery was replaced the wheelchair lift did not deploy and apparently it was because the power source from the battery was disconnected and the door switch was engaging when the door was open so they corrected the power source to battery and also cleaned the positive terminal and adjusted the door switch so that when the door is open the door switch is engaged. Apparently that was what was causing a draw on the battery per the first owner and also at the time March 24th 2025 the wheelchair lift had routine lift service done on it. Since my ownership I took it to a local Port St Lucie reputable shop and had the radiator replaced so of course it got a coolant flush during that job and also had a new serpentine belt put on and also had rear shocks replaced with heavy duty AC Monroe ones. Also there was a wheelchair EZ lock dock in the midsection of the vehicle installed in the floor that I had the guys remove because it was just in the way and so the wires going to the various places are still intact tucked in the trim but the unit itself is gone. Also I got some WeatherTech window shades for the front windshield and driver and passenger side windows that work really well to keep heat at bay here in South florida. Furthermore I used an eraser wheel to take the pinstripes off of the midline section of the vehicle but I did not remove the stripes from the bottom of the vehicle. Also I cleaned up the running boards and installed new gorilla grip tape. Included with your purchase will also be the products necessary to touch up for any little spots that need paint touch up coming from the micro finish company so that's 2 oz of the touch up paint and the high gloss clear coat and the gray primer and the necessary sandpaper micro dabbers and paint prep surface wipes. When I had it recently at the local Port St Lucie shop I asked them to give it the once-over and let me know if there was anything they would recommend to be repaired and they said that the vehicle looked really good that in the future the next thing on their list would be to replace the rotors however the shop said that was down the line that there was still mileage to be gotten out of them. I should note that it was my request to put in new rear shocks they did not make that recommendation but they gladly did the job. Aside from the small spots that need touch up paint applied, the only other thing worth mentioning is the carpet. It's 20 year carpet and while it doesn't have any smoke odors, it does smell like old carpet to me. I have a sensitive nose. Maybe it wouldn't bother you. On eBay you can get a whole set front and rear with padding for around $470+ and have a local person replace it and it'll look brand new. There's a seat only cover on the driver side seat. The balance are without tears. Front driver and front passenger seats and rear bench seat in place. No middle seats. Few dents. Feel free to have this vehicle inspected by your local mechanic because this is an as is sale with no warranty expressed or implied. I'll make out a bill of sale that we'll mutually sign and you'll get a copy to take along with you. I can't tell you anything about the electric trailer brake operation nor about towing in general. Clearly it looks like the prior owner towed something but that's not my thing so I can't speak to the hitch but again you are free to fully inspect. Oh, one thing, the dome lights don't come on. I didn't have that issue traced out because I wasn't aware of it at the time I took it to our local shop. The rear most courtesy light does come on just not the other overhead ones. To pay for this vehicle you will be asked to do a direct wire transfer from your banking institution to mine prior to release of title. OR if you want to pay by cash, that's fine too but then we need to complete the transaction at a local Port St Lucie bank so they can verify the bills. I'll happily stand aside while they withdraw cash from your account and I can see that the funds are legit.
