This French style accent/side/end/coffee table, dating to the early part of the 20th Century, is a stunning piece of furniture which has been in my family for decades. Measures approximately 19 1/4” tall x 25 3/4” wide x 19” deep. The granite insert is mainly black with a generous amount of white and peach color veining. The granite piece measures approximately 20 1/2” x 13 1/2” and can easily be removed. On the back of the stone, is the remnant of a paper label indicating “Made in Italy.” This table features two drawers located on the front and back. Each have 2 antique, gold tone knobs. There are 4 graceful cabriole legs with ornate details. I believe the wood is walnut. This table has a versatile rectangular shape and design. It is simple, yet elegant. A unique and nice piece of furniture that would be a great addition to any home and be the focal point of any room. The granite insert is in excellent condition. There are a few small areas on the wood that show wear, but nothing major. The patina, which has developed over time, adds character to this timeless piece.
