MosValve MV-962 Stereo Power Amp (160W)

Good condition, clean inside and out, fully functional and fully AWESOME sounding rackmount solid state poweramp. Typical wear for an item of this age (i.e. rack rash, scratches, etc.). These have a great reputation, built like a tank yet small and lightweight. See reviews online. In case you are not sure about what this does, it's a power amp. It takes an input signal that has been shaped by a pre amp, virtual amp or profiler etc, and drives that tone into a speaker to make it WAY louder. This is solid state but sounds very musical especially in the midrange, bags of power. Built like a tank but doesn't weight too much. It's designed to lend a tube style warmth to preamps and sims etc. especially when dimed. Will drive into 4 to 16 ohms. OUTPUT POWER — 160 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms (80 watts per channel, both channels driven) MosValve MV-962 Power Amp, made by B.K. Butler Tube Works. It is designed specifically for guitars, and emulates a sweet tube response through solid-state technology (no tubes used). Stereo 80 watts per side in to a minimum of 4 ohms, 2 rack spaces, quite loud. Can easily drive a couple 4x12s for a full stage sound, down to a single 1x12 run mono for a smaller rig.
