This was a high-end premium model as it was a 3 in 1 (side, rear bag or mulch), was Power-Propelled w/Front Wheel Drive and had a unique "Key Start" with an electronic starter, extremely advanced features for a walk-behind mower. At the time of purchase, this mower was priced at/close to $400 and her output of 6.5hp was about as powerful as one could get and even today, that's a very contemporary and respectable number. She's trimmed many lawns over the years and is far from new, she has the normal bumps and bruises consistent with a normal well loved and often used mower ... I no longer have the rear bag and the charger stopped working last year when it got splashed on, the mower was fully functional and working well when it was wrapped and covered at the end of last fall. I do not make any guarantees, as with any used purchase ... this transaction is AS-IS. She was parked and stored dry (without fuel in the tank) and i have not yet started her in 2020. I have a new Ryobi Electric machine in the shed this season. Yes, it's neat but it's not cool ... the smell, the feel of metal and the solid heft just gives this Craftsman more street cred. I'm listing Craftsman Model 917.378380 for $130 and she's worth every penny, there isn't a new lawn mower under $169 anywhere that's going to offer these features ... and I know you will not find a GOOD mower around this price that is MADE IN THE USA. I'd keep her but i live in a townhouse now and we just dont have the room to let her stretch her legs - or the room to store her.
