Description

Very cool early 40s era King Zephyr alto. This horn has been played and shows its age, with only about 30-40% original lacquer remaining and lots of cosmetic wear throughout, but has a very straight body and no major dents, dings, or scrapes. The original double socket neck has seen some damage but functions and plays perfectly well (see pics for condition). This horn received a full overhaul around the middle of last year and some adjustment work recently and plays like a champ- it has a very nice blend of vintage character and the big, full sound vintage King saxophones are known for. Really great horn for a very reasonable price!
