Description

Overview: Up for sale is an incredible, beautiful antique oil painting of a winter landscape with a rural church in front of a river. Oil on canvas wrapped around a board. It may or may not be signed indistinctly at lower right, though that may just be some tufts of grass. Very well-executed piece. Based on age and style, I'd date this to the 1920s or so. Framed in a lovely detailed carved wood frame. Condition: Painting is in excellent condition. Frame is in good condition with some moderate chipping around top and left edges. Measurements: Painting measures approximately 8 inches high x 5 inches wide. Frame measures approximately 10.5 inches high x 7.5 inches wide.
