The service center at AutoNation Hyundai did well in caring for our vehicle. The staff and manger are friendly and informative. They show you what the recommendations that your auto needs and give options to choose from. They also gave us a loaner vehicle while we waited for our car to get fixed under warranty. Vanessa, Christian, Steve and Ramon all helped us over the last few months from service to warranty work and were excellent at their jobs in caring for our needs. I will continue to go here for our Hyundai service and repairs.

I had an excellent experience with the service department at AutoNation Hyundai Carlsbad. The team was professional, efficient, and kept me updated throughout the process. My vehicle was serviced on time, and they explained everything clearly without any pressure. I really appreciated the friendly staff and the peace of mind knowing my car was in good hands. Bought a great car from here a year ago. Fairly straightforward and as-expected sales experience. The team was nice and the finance folks actually beat the loan I walked in with.

However I get a letter for a recall recently. Book my service appointment from the letter I received. Show up for the appointment (I’d marked I will wait there - letter says less than an hour of work) and after 15 minutes I’m checked in and told it’ll be a few hours.

I wasted my time and it was pretty difficult to convince the associate who’d checked me in this was an unrealistic change from what had been communicated. And then they told me it’ll still be hours (then two hours then an hour and a half then at least an hour) when I reschedule…which I appreciate being told the truth - but those are also some big gaps in the numbers.

I did not appreciate being sold to at the appointment either considering I’d already expressed my frustration with the service delivery…I understand it could take longer depending on if we have additional services I’m interested but I am most definitely only interested in getting this done quickly and getting my car back as soon as possible. I am unsure if the technician had an accurate idea of the time required with the vehicle based on the fact they didn’t reference the service itself - which was described by Hyundai as a software update.

Would’ve been nice if I wasn’t told to come back another day and just expect to wait however long. That’s the same way I was treated today. Even tried to offer to come back within a window of time today…not able to help me out. Not super pleasant.

The team here is FANTASTIC. I had a unique situation in making an out-of-state purchase, and Marcel walked me through step-by-step the process with much patience and kindness. Once at the dealership, I met with Cody in finance who helped wrap me up, and in a short time I was out the door with my new Ioniq 6.

And by the way, the car is exactly what I was looking for in a vehicle and more. Always impressed with Hyundai's engineering and design.

Overall a wonderful experience!

I took my car in for its first service after buying it new. I also had a rattle in the dash that they confirmed and ordered a new part for. The oil change and service went very well. Everything was very professional however they had my car. For 10 days. The part I am not happy with is that I have beautiful white seats in my car And I take very good car of my car and there was no protection, covering the seats or floor as they were working on it. when I went to go get personal items out of my car, there were sharp Objects and tools and my entire dash was all over my beautiful white seats. Vanessa was very professional with the communication with me and I was able to have a loaner while my car was being worked on, however I have six seats because I need to use them for grandchildren . I was only provided with a five seater car And was not able to go anywhere because I did not have enough seats for the kids.
