-$800 OBO. All info on car is in description.- 2001 Honda Civic LX with CLEAN title for $800 OBO. Good little commuter car, takes about $15 to fill tank and gets around 32 MPG. ***UPDATE*** Car was daily driver for an 1 1/2 hour commute, started experiencing over heating last week. Took to shop and ended up replacing the thermostat, but car was still over heating after about an hour. Now mechanic says it potentially has a warped head gasket and to try block sealer. Since I have a long commute, I decided I’m no longer messing with this car and just bought a new one. Price change reflects new problems with car. *** Pros: -No transmission slips or trouble starting -A/C & Heat work -Audio system works and has upgraded stereo deck with aux and USB input. -After market exhaust pipe and spoiler on the back. -Great gas mileage -Body damage minimal, mostly paint chips and peeling -Headlights, brake lights, and turn signals work -Windshield wipers work, but washer fluid doesn’t -Automatic door locks and windows (has mechanical issue: passenger window and rear driver window won’t roll down) -No braking problems Maintenance I’ve done: -2 New front tires and rear tires don’t need to be replaced yet -Recent Oil change (June 2020) -Thermostat replaced less than 2 months ago Cons: -Washer fluid doesn’t work -SRS and Check engine light on -Starter is fine now but will need replacing -Control arm needs replacement, but car is drive-able -Car overheats after an hour, mechanic says head gasket is warped, and could potentially be sealed with a block sealer. Car is a great basic car and could be a good project if someone wants to put the time into it. I commute too far and the car was over heating after an hour. I decided just to buy a new car so I didn’t have to worry about it. Car is located at Neighborhood Walmart off Old Fortress in Murfreesboro if you’d like to drive by it.
