Wonderful Depression-era measuring Pitcher says "1 Pound Sugar Makes 1 Pint" one side, "Good Milk Contains 10% Cream" on one side, "1 Pound Butter Makes 1 Pint" one side. Measures 8 "T" cups or 4 Coffee Cups Evenfull, Pound flour sifted even full, increments of 1 Quart are measured in pints and gills. This beautiful pitcher measures approx. 8 3/4" high. Overall excellent condition with light wear and a light scratch from normal use and age. This item is unique because the ones selling on Ebay for 2 or 3 times this cost don't have the pretty scalloped edges on the top rim. Price is firm.
