Vintage Metal World Military Aviation Training Globe w/ Pivot Stand. A.J. Nystrom/Denoyer Geppert 1940's-1950's This globe is a hollow spun orb consisting of two hemispheres creating a 22 inch diameter with a seasonal sun indicator and instructions on Base of Stand. The Oceans are in blue, dark green land masses with yellow out lines. This design offered the opportunity to be written on with chalk, demonstrating geographical knowledge by adding longitude, latitude, countries and more. There are imperfections and marks on the globe but overall it is in fairly good condition. It does pivot and spin with ease. The metal base has rust but I did not want to do any restoration to it I thought it best to leave it to the professionals.
