LAST CHANCE TO BUY B4 I PULL PARTS AND SCRAP WHATS LEFT. NEEDS WORK. 1997 Silverado Z71 4x4 fully loade. She starts up and runs but poorly. Has power going down freeway but slow to power from dead stop.. Auto report says may be broken head gasket or head..sparkplug showed signs of rust. This may make a good project build. Im the original owner. Its the Silverado model fully loaded. 350 Vortec engine. Extended cab with 3rd door.. automatic transmission. bought and installed new transmission from Chevrolet a few months b4 engine problems. Transmission was new only drove it for less that 200 miles b4 engine kept it parked.( have transmission purchase receipt. ) has 4" Rancho lift and suspension kit. Custom 16" wheels. Currently registration is filed "NON OP" THIS IS GOOD TO JULY 2020. MINOR DENTS AND DINGS, INTERIOR CARPET THRASHED. INTERIOR OVERALL IS POOR. power seats and windows all work, radio, cruise control tilt steering, AC, leather seats front and rear though fronts are ripped. 4 wheel drive works great. This is a project truck. Not to buy it and drive away no worries. It can be brought back to life and beauty with some work. Thought I'd try this first b4 I parted out. New remanufactured transmission from Chevrolet alone is worth $2000, The wheels $$. The 4" Rancho lift &suspension $? Since I filed it last year as NON OP it is legal to sell. But come July...new owner is responsible for registration fees smog etc. Unless the Non Op is refiled until truck is made good again to drive dependable. Or parted out. I have Clear title. This is not a salvage. NOTE. unless your a good mechanic I wouldn't even try fixing engine, I'd replace it with a new one or rebuilt, remanufactured or used. I just bought a 96 Chevrolet same model, if this truck doesn't sell to someone who would like to fix up get back on road...ill take tranny and wheels for backup and junk the rest. Id really like to see her back on the road so this is short term offer.
