P. Mauriat Custom Class PMB-301 Baritone Saxophone

Fantastic professional model P. Mauriat Custom Class baritone saxophone, model PMB-301 with low A and high F#. A strikingly gorgeous horn boasting a rose gold lacquer finish body and abalone pearl key touches, this baritone is as commanding in sound as it is in appearance. With French design coupled with an enlarged bore taper, it sounds huge, bold, and full throughout the full range and speaks with equal clarity and definition at soft volumes. It is sturdily constructed and well-regulated, and responds quickly without any semblance of fragility. I've played it on and off for about 3 years with no issues whatsoever, and it still plays like new! This was my first foray into owning a low A horn and, while I was not disappointed, I have found myself favoring the character of low Bb baritones, so I'm passing this along. Comes with original hardshell case with ample storage and your choice of Theo Wanne Essential Jazz 8 or Jody Jazz Jet 7 mouthpiece for my asking price (or both for an additional $100). It absolutely holds its own amongst the heavyweight brands of the world and would be a vibrant and dependable addition to any serious saxophonist's arsenal.
