I used to put table cloths, plate mats and table decorations inside the storage. I’m very OCD, I polished them weekly and I’ve always used lemon oil only. I would recommend you to use lemon oil every time you need to. Wouldn’t recommend you to use different oil to confuse the wood surfaces. I just polished them today, they’re ready to go and they must go ASAP!! We are renovating and changing things around. First comes and first serves ... or OBO! Already took off the top table to make it easier for you to carry the top out and you’ll only need a wrench in size 1/2 to put back the top at home. Very comfortable, strong, heavy and they are beautiful! If you need me to delivery them to you, I’m willing to do that and I will have my husband and son to load them for me but you MUST carry them out of my pick up truck - I cannot help you with that due to the back surgery that I had.
