The Good; New tires, battery, water pump, timing belt. Good glass, beautiful leather interior.105k miles which 95k was driven by second owner which was a 80 year old man so it was never abused. The BAD; Car jumped time thanks to a defective bolt that was holding the timing belt idler pulley. I think it Has BENT VALVES. Use for parts or fix it and drive it. Must be towed. I paid a grand for it with a bad water pump. Installed a new water pump and timing belt kit I bought on eBay for 150. I took my time and used a torque wrench on every bolt so everything would be to mfg spec. The car ran perfect for about a week the my girl friend was driving on the highway when it died. We had it towed home. When I opened it up the idler pully bolt broke flush with the block so I extracted the broken end and put it back together. Now it sounds like there is no compression. So I think the valves are bent. Now I don't have a good place to work on cars anymore so my loss is your gain.... $500 firm or trade for nice guitar, things that go boom or ? ?
