Bike With Sidecar

Trek bike with homemade sidecar. Built this for our dog because he wanted nothing to do with a pull behind bike trailer. He (and I) loved riding around the neighborhood and we would get tons of compliments, thumbs ups, and photo takers. Would also work with a small child or simply used as a grocery getter. Rear shifter mechanism broke a while ago so I completely removed it. Front shifter still works but now it’s only a 3 speed. Works perfectly for its purpose, simply cruising around the neighborhood. Bonus if you’re the type that likes getting added attention😜. Tubes and tires are good. (Rear rack shown in some of the pics is no longer on the bike and not included.) I should also state that this sidecar was a home built, one off project that was designed to fit this particular bike’s frame and geometry (because it was the bike I had on hand at the time). Even though it is in fact made to be unbolted and removable from the bike for storage and transport (not welded to the bike itself), I doubt that it would directly connect to a different bike without having to make modifications such as cutting metal and re-welding.
