Description

$20 obo A lovely little cactus and succulent mix🌵 what’s in the pot: 1. Tall, column-shaped cactus (back right) –Blue Myrtle Cactus (Myrtillocactus geometrizans) or something very similar. It’s a hardy species that can grow quite tall over time. 2. Two small red-topped cacti (middle) – These are Moon Cacti (Gymnocalycium mihanovichii var. friedrichii), grafted onto green rootstock (usually Hylocereus). The bright red tops can’t survive alone because they lack chlorophyll, so they rely on the green cactus beneath to feed them. 3. Spiky rosette succulent (front left) – That’s a type of Aloe or Haworthia (often labeled Aloe aristata or Haworthia attenuata). They’re low-growing and easy to care for. 🪴 Care Guide for Your Combo Pot ☀️ Light: Bright indirect light or morning sun is best. Avoid harsh afternoon sun, especially for the Moon Cactus — they can scorch easily. 💧 Water: Water every 2–3 weeks, letting the soil dry out completely between waterings. In cooler months, water even less (once a month or so). Use well-draining cactus soil. 🌡️ Temperature: Keep above 50°F (10°C). Bring indoors if frost threatens. 🌿 Fertilizer: Use a diluted cactus/succulent fertilizer once a month in spring and summer only. 🪨 Pro Tip: You might consider separating them into their own pots later. The tall cactus will eventually need more space, and Moon Cacti often do better on their own in smaller, shallower pot.
