For your consideration is this stunning Antique French Rococo Console Entry Table. This piece dates back to the 18th century. The wood is hand carved tiger oak, which is assembled with wood pegs and animal glue. The top is hand carved and polished alabaster. This is an extraordinary piece. The wood is in excellent condition. There are no obvious defects or damage and the wear is consistent with age and being displayed. The alabaster top has a crack that runs across one corner (the corner is loose, but stable). This is consistent with a softer stone (alabaster) on a piece that is more than 200 years old. This piece shows very well and it would be a stunning addition and a conversation piece in any home or office.
