1988 Chrylser conquest/mitsubishi starion for sale. This car is a very original car, and very hard to find in this condition. 99 percent stock. Most have been beat up and modified. I have been working on these cars for 28 years and I know how hard it is to find one like this. The values of these cars has jumped up in price in past few years and have become collectible. Recently I have repaired or replaced: -less than 500 miles on synthetic oil change -Rebuilt alernator -Throttle position sensor -injectors -Spark plugs -TPS/ISC reset -Jet valve adjustment -ignition distributor -New tailight gaskets and new bulbs -all vacuum lines -Rebuilt entire torque tube -all brake hoses -master cylinder and all new brake fluid -new front shocks and top bearing plates -new front ball joints -new sway bar bushings -fixed exhaust leak -replaced all A/C or rings and serviced compressor -New A/C filter dryer -new coolant -fixed auto seat belts -cleaned up fusible links -polished all rims -replaced broken center console storage clip -fixed steering wheel controls -fixed almost non functioning wiper linkages -Replaced non working radio -Fixed non working winshield washer system The interior is in great shape, zero cracks on the dash (i think it had a cover on it most its life). drivers seat has some wear on the bolster, and a split in the middle that could probably be fixed. I've spent a lot of time going through and making sure all the little things that don't work on these cars, gets fixed so it works. The paint is in fair condition. Drivers rear quarter was not good, so i resprayed a section myself, came out ok, but a professional body shop could do it better, or respray the whole car. Front air dam has some cracks. A/C system needs recharging, but I have replaced all o rings and installed R-134a adapters. Radio antenna mast is stuck in the up position, common on these cars. Eventually you can find a good antenna mast. Tires are good. No accident damage, body is straight. Car runs great, idles smooth. Transmission shifts good. Always gets comments and looks when I drive it. Clean title in hand. I will smog it at the time of sale.
