Works great. Looks like an early model 1950's/60's. Indicated by the bake-light handle color, shape and black side plates. The Penn Peer 209 (also known as the "Peer Sr." or 209M) is a versatile, mid-sized level wind reel that has remained in production since its debut in 1950. It is widely used for saltwater trolling, bottom fishing, and heavy freshwater applications like catfishing.
