What the big box brands don't mention is that all of the beneficial microbes and microorganisms begin to die off within the first 48 to 72 hours once the tea is cut off from a source of oxygen. For this reason, the tea is not bottled until you are en route for pick-up in order to maintain maximum freshness. It can come filtered or unfiltered in which case you can use the leftover castings in soil beds for additional benefits and water retention.
