Description

Vintage 1963 Rogers Luxor Snare Drum with seldom-seen, cast Bread & Butter lugs. Size is 5x14 in great condition. Chrome is clean and in great shape. These cast lugs are incredibly rare and don’t crack compared to more commonly seen drawn brass BB lugs - meaning you can tension them up with confidence. (There’s a cool YouTube vid about these lugs by Anthony Amodeo - I encourage anyone interested in vintage drums to watch). A great sounding drum. Open, warm, vintage and phat sounding. Cleveland paper tag #3877 with Tall Boy hoops. The original wrap has been removed leaving a lovely natural maple finish. . Aside from the heads and wires, all parts appear to be original. A solid addition to any collection! Located in Van Nuys, CA (Los Angeles)
