This would be a wonderful nursery rocker. When you're done, you can put it back on here and sell it for what you paid because of its age. This rocking chair is called a Cogswell style. They made these in the late 40s and early 50s. This particular chair has been newly reuphulstered and also has been made to swivel. The armrest has covers which is vellcrowed on so you can remove it to wash. Also, the back head rest cover snaps on so you can remove it to wash. Hardly ever sat in mostly in the spare bedroom. Look, these type of chairs up on Google. They are extremely comfortable and made with springs inside. Comes with a cool footstool and 3 matching pillows. This chair is super comfortable. I have had it a long time. I just don't have any room or in my tiny place. Measurements are as follows. For the seat from the front to the back is 21 and 1/2 inches from the back to the top of the chair is 25 inches (measuring from the seat). The inside width of seat is 24 inches wide. Outside is 30 inches at the whitest point. The footstool is 20 and a 1/2 inches wide and 44 inches long 12 inches high. (There's a picture of it in front of the chair so you can see how it looks). Also, the pillows are 16 inches around and 3 inches thick. Everything here is from a smoke free home in excellent condition. Im asking $20.00.The upholstery job was over $350.00.
