GAIN - adjusts the amount of distortion. Lower settings (counter-clockwise) gives you crunchy drive tones and as you rotate clockwise you increase saturation, harmonics and sustain. TONE - adjusts the high frequencies of the pedal’s voicing. It is a high cut filter that is full bandwidth at the highest setting (full clockwise) and turns down the highs as you sweep counterclockwise.
