Testing the waters with my bike. Fully stock except for a tail tidy and rokform stem mount. The cbr500r is an EXCELLENT beginner bike! It’s got 47hp and 32ftlb of torque, making it fast enough to zip by your average car but not so fast that a clutch mistake will send you flying. 20k miles, this has been a commuter bike since new. Mostly highway miles, averaging 58mpg. Small scuff on left side, otherwise mechanically and cosmetically perfect. New rotors and pads are coming in about a week and I’ll put those on then.
