2003 Taylor 310 All solid wood. Made in USA. In person cash sale only. Please see below regarding trades and offers. Plays and sounds fantastic. This is a 20 year old guitar. The solid Sitka spruce top has had 20 years to age and “open up” giving it a wonderful tone. The 310’s are all solid wood and made in the Taylor El Cajon, California facility using the same Taylor methods and tooling as the more expensive models. Taylor stopped making the dreadnought in their USA line in favor of their proprietary 317, 417… body shape with V bracing. Seems they did this not because the 317 is a better sounding guitar, but most likely because they wanted to get out from under the Martin shadow and show that they could do their own thing in a jumbo sized guitar. The 310's were built like Martins with tradition X bracing, which gives them excellent bass response, volume, projection and tone. There‘s a reason why the Dreadnought shape is so popular. It really is one of the best guitar shapes ever. With the 310, you really get a lot of guitar for the money. It's a hidden gem and great bargain for an all solid wood, made in USA Taylor of this caliber. For comparison a new Taylor 317 sells for $2200.
