It is made of solid wood, not compressed board. Always had a table cover, but the legs do have some minor scratches. It comes with 4 matching chairs. Mom decided to down size to a smaller table, so time to let it go. Dimensions of the table are: 59 x 39 inches and 30 inches tall. Makes for a great dining room or kitchen table. It holds a lot of great memories.
