Akai AX80 Polyphonic Analog Synth

For sale I have an AKAI AX-80 polyphonic analog synth. This is a programmable 8-voice analog synthesizer with a full 61-note keyboard. Two analog oscillators per voice plus a sub oscillator provide the basis of its punchy analog sounds that can be described as similar to a Chroma Polaris or Roland Juno 106. Very good bass, brass, synth sounds, and effects are possible.The synth features an LCD display running across the top of the keyboard. In mid-2016, this synth was cleaned, and all connections were checked and re-soldered. As such, the synth sounds great, and is 100% functional. Cosmetically, the synth is in used condition, with a few scratches on the sides and marks on the control board. Overall, it looks great for a machine built in 1984.
