Should be great for your retro gaming. My NES decided to act up but I tested this tv with a vcr and it's mostly working properly. The color looks real blue in the picture, I tweaked it and the color seems fine. The main thing to note is that the volume and channel buttons don't seem to be working. There is a remote for this tv on ebay right now for like $15, that might do the trick but it turns on to channel 3 and the volume isn't too soft or loud. There are some cosmetic blemishes but nothing heavy like cracks and no blemishes to the screen.
