Description

Antique Sears"David Bradley " Go Kart with original Antique Briggs and Stratton 80302, 1957-1961, 3 horsepower engine, Original seat, ( Seats 2) Original hard rubber tires and steel wheels,Original oil bath can type breather. One of a kind, excellent for a Father & Son restoration project. This cart was likely built in 1958 and was a mail order item from Sears Roebuck Catalog. Engine runs and go cart will move, needs some clutch adjusting or replacement, but this go cart is probably 60 years old or older. Cart even has a front bumper. All controls are in working condition. Stored in a barn for years. Anyone who knows what you are looking at should realize that this is a rare item. And especially rare that it still runs and operates. I'm accepting offers, but please don't make a ridiculous one. You won't find another in this condition and this old. No lowball offers will be answered, and ignorant comments will be ignored! If you're serious about buying it, I will possibly deliver it within reasonable distance. Please, no stupid questions about how fast it will go or where can you drive it ! It's a go cart ! Not a street legal motor vehicle. This is being sold as a collector's item or restoration project. Serious inquiries only! I will block anyone who asks the next stupid question or makes a dumb offer. I know I have it underpriced and could ask more on other sites. Just replaced recoil starter clutch and drove the cart today 3/6, Cart will move about 20-25 mph, engine runs great. Of course it will need some minor work yet, but it's 60 years old! Get it soon before I change my mind, I may decide to restore it soon. Just ordered a brand new carburetor "New Old Stock " period correct for this engine. It will be installed and adjusted prior to sale.
