Vintage 1920s C.G. Conn Alto Saxophone Celebrity Owned

Vintage 1920s C.G. Conn Alto Saxophone Elkhart Indiana USA – Serial M185691 I believe this is the Wonder Model. The saxophone was owned and played by esteemed American musician Gene Merlino, whose remarkable career spanned nearly seven decades and included collaborations with numerous Grammy- and Oscar-nominated artists. It was acquired via his estate sale and documentation is available upon request. Comes with original case, although the case has seen better days. Saxophone is UNTESTED. It was heavily used throughout Merlino’s career and will likely require a professional restoration. Selling strictly “as is”, assuming it needs a tune up. Restored, these sell in the thousands, without any pedigree. I actually have two available. Can give discount if you grab both. Not sure if the second is the same model.
