Up for sale is a beautiful set of antique/vintage corn-themed dishes, mostly Corn King made by Shawnee. This set includes a casserole dish (no. 74), a teapot or tea kettle (no. 75), salt and pepper shakers, a cream pitcher or creamer (no. 70), four corn-on-the-cob holders or trays (Patent Pend.# 95420), and a creamy yellow ceramic serving bowl. These pieces haven’t been used much and still glisten like new. There are a few little chips, partial cracks, and crazing as would be expected with their age, but nothing that distracts from the character and charm of the pieces. Review the photos I took so you can see the appearance and judge the condition of the items for yourself. And feel free to ask for more pics if you want to see anything better! The casserole dish is about 11 inches long by 6 inches wide. Teapot is 7 inches tall by 9 inches wide from spout to handle. The shakers are each about 3.5 inches tall. The cream pitcher stands about 5 inches tall. And the corn cob holders are 9.5 inches long by 3 inches wide. The bowl is 8 inches in diameter and sits about 3 inches deep. We are near 40th St. & Thunderbird Rd. in northeast Phoenix. Sold individually, these pieces normally go for much more than what I’m asking. Take them all for a great price!
