Big and Brutal Cobbled Together Metal Base/Art Sculpture: I absolutely ❤️ the look of this monstrous base. I think it was cobbled together from various pieces to form one glorious piece of metal magnificence. The bottom is an embossed chunk of iron from Centralia, Missouri and then there’s a post with some whatchamacallits in the middle, another pole, and then a rusty 11” x 11” platform. It would look cool with a typewriter on it or some other piece of industrial decor. Measures about 51” and weighs probably 60-70 pounds of pure awkwardness. Art doesn’t have to be a pretty picture in a frame. Art is what happens when someone can imagine a pile of scrap metal pieces into something unique and interesting. Asking a very reasonable $225.
