This bike was acquired from the original owner who brought it up from Southern California which was originally purchased at the Linus flagship store. It’s a completely stock Gaston 5 (5 speed) model road bike w/ Nexus/ Sturmey Archer internal gearing. This is currently a discontinued model,top quality build. Has the original porteur style bars /leather grips, full gumwall/reflective tires , brakes and drivetrain. Basically did a custom mod to it by adding various components to bring it to what you see as pictured. Racks (porteur front/Axiom thin profile rear), hammered copper fenders, Blackburn slim profile panniers, Brooks B7 double sprung saddle, hand tooled bag and pedal straps,top tube protector, water bottle cage, Cateye lighting, vintage style rear lighting, bell , etc etc. A lot invested . Built up and test ridden only . No additional miles. and not a scratch on it. Asking price is for only the expense put into it. *Now asking less! Roughly a 23” frame and it rides very smoothly. Doesn’t get much better and a real looker. No disappointments. Solid investment!Making space and selling off a few bikes that I don’t ride and this one has very limited miles. As new!
