This is a bundle of 2 (two) MXL Recording Pack Plus. Each pack comes with 2 (two) mics which include an MXL 2003a Large Diaphragm Condenser mic and an MXL 603s Small Diaphragm Condenser mic. You'll get 4 (four) mics total and a mic clip for each of the Large Diaphragm mics. The 603s do not have clips, but they fit on most standard pencil mic clips. This is great for someone getting started in recording or music production since you'll be able to jump start your mic collection for what you could alternatively spend on one single mic. Having 2 LDCs and 2 SDCs means you'll be able to record several instruments at once, record voice and guitar simultaneously, or stereo mic whatever you'd like with the option to blend colors as you see fit. I've especially gotten a lot of use out of the 603s over the years and have found them useful for everything from guitars to percussion as they capture snappy transients. The 2003s are a touch warmer and I've found them handy for vocals and strings. The 603s are Mogami wired and there are communities out there that use them as the basis for custom mods. The mics I am offering are unmodified. Between the 4 mics, I've recorded everything from instrumentals to vocals to recording various noises for sound design. I have the original boxes for the mics which is typically where they were kept when not in use. They have never been exposed to smoke of any kind. All four mics have been recently tested and are operational. As is typical with condenser mics, they will require XLR cables and phantom power to use. Mics will only be sold together.
