2007 Ford Explorer

I hate to do it but the time has come to sell my baby, up for sale is my 2007 Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLT. This truck has been in my family since it was purchased brand new at the end of 2006. My grandpa was the original owner, next was my aunt and uncle for a couple years and now myself. It’s been dealer maintained every 5k since day one and since I purchased it in 2023 I’ve put a ton of new parts on it and I’ve done any preventative maintenance I can do. It has 122k miles (will go up as it’s my daily driver) and it has a very strong 4.0 V6 that runs phenomenally. Once it hit 100k I started using full synthetic oil and changing it every 3000 miles. The only real issue with the truck is I believe it’s in the beginning stages of a head gasket failure as I have to top off the coolant overflow tank once a week or so. I’m not 100% though, could be something simple I’m overlooking. Other than that it runs and drives awesome, it cruises at 75-80 with no problem. A/C is ice cold, heat is nice and hot, everything works at it should. Has new Michelin tires with 5-6k on them, can’t remember exactly. I have receipts for almost all the parts I’ve put on it and I have a carfax from all the maintenance my grandpa and uncle had done over the years. I absolutely love this truck and it hurts to have to make this decision but unfortunately I don’t want to spend the money on the work it’s potentially going to need. My loss is your gain.
