🌕🌑🌕Hyper Ultra Vintage 1950s Benrus 17 Jewels, 20 Micron 10K Gold Winder🌕🌑🌕 Vintage from the 1950s Model: DN2F Jewels: 17 Style: Mid-century Bezel: Electroplated 10K Gold 20 in width of 20 Micron Band material: Black Verny Black Power: Mechanical Readout: Analog Benrus was an American company that pioneered using high-quality Swiss movements and marketing high-quality but affordable watches to the American public in the interwar years and beyond. Luckily, I've set my sights on acquiring some Benrus watches to share with you here. Well, share with in exchange for money. This watch comes from one of Benrus's high points of design and workmanship. The 1950s saw great streamlined styles, a series of excellent Swiss mechanical movements, thinner designs, and partnerships with various "famous" airlines. This 17 jewels watch is working perfectly but is missing the sub-second hand that has no effect on the overall working condition of this gem. It winds easily and smoothly, and runs strongly and keeps time. Case and crystal show only the faintest scratches but not noticeable. Watch has a lightly used black Verny leather which is appropriate in style for this unique fabulous watch. Movement has been inspected. It appears clean, and runs strongly. It's really, really nice.
