Before replacing it with a new car, we drove this vehicle every day around town and on road trips and it was always reliable. No accidents, 2 owners (personal use), clean vehicle history report. Selling this vehicle as-is. Battery is currently dead but car was functional (drivable) before dead battery. -PLEASE NOTE- This 2008 X5 looks great, runs well and drives well, but the vehicle needs a new valve cover gasket and work on the front suspension. The front suspension is squeaky and rattles. Mechanic says the check engine light is on due to the valve cover gasket issue. 2023 was the last California DMV registration - smog check was never attempted because of the check engine light. Once the valve cover gasket is replaced, the car might pass smog test. There some worn out components since this is a 17 year old vehicle - door handles, switches, etc. that work but could be fixed/replaced to restore the vehicle.
