Description

The Lenox China in the Harvest, R-411 Pattern is an antique set of 41 pieces, featuring eight five-piece place settings. Manufactured in America in the 1940s, this bone china set includes a serving bowl, salad plate, dinner plate, bread plate, and tea/coffee cup with saucer all decorated with a single wheat stalk and gold rim on a white background. The elegant design and high-quality material make it suitable for all occasions, representing the mid-20th century production style of fine bone china by the renowned brand Lenox. I am unfortunately short one dinner plate. A replacement is relatively easy to find through a china matching service right here in eBay. This china has literally been packed away in storage since the mid 1980. I never really had the occasion to use it and likely never will. It was given to me by my Great Aunt Elsie as a highschool graduation present. Sweet gesture but not exactly the style of an 18 year old male that age. I have carried it around in the original cardboard box it was packed in when I left home for college in 1981. It's been in Virginia, Texas, Missouri and now in Washington State. I imagine she bought it in West Virginia in the 1940's. It's all in new condition and I don't think it was ever used. It includes a serving bowl.
