Esta es una moneda de un dólar Eisenhower de 1971. Presenta el busto del presidente Dwight D. Eisenhower en el anverso y una imagen estilizada del parche de la misión Apolo 11 en el reverso. Fue la primera moneda de dólar emitida por la Casa de la Moneda de EE. UU. desde 1935. Las monedas de circulación regular de 1971 (acuñadas en Filadelfia o Denver) no contenían plata, sino que eran de cobre y níquel. La marca de ceca (si la hubiera) se encuentra sobre el espacio entre los dos últimos dígitos de la fecha. Las monedas bien conservadas y las certificadas de alta calidad son más difíciles de encontrar y, por lo tanto, más valiosas para los coleccionistas.
