Breathtakingly Beautiful Persimmon (?) Wood Red Felt Lined Three Drawer Anything You Want It To Be Box: More than likely made in Japan around the early 1940s, this incredibly cool box is just beautiful. Someone told me that this was made out of Persimmon Wood but I don’t know for sure. All I know is that it’s fantastic and fabulous and is the perfect box for all your whatnots. The top part opens up like a chest and then there are three drawers and they are all lined with red felt and they all have the greatest handles. The original shellac was failing so I oiled it up which gives it a nice rustic look. It measures 12” Across x 7.5” H x 10” D. The two top drawers are 9.5” L x 1.25” Deep and the bottom drawer is 9.5” L x 1” D and the top chest is about 9.5” L and also has a depth of about an inch. Although I didn’t find anything quite like this online, I found something very similar that sold for over $160 if you count the shipping and the tax. This one is an incredibly fair $69. I hand pick everything I sell. I don’t buy storage units. I don’t do clean outs. I make my rounds every morning looking for those items that are unique, unusual, and exude a timeless beauty. I’m not a personal garage sale nor am I liquidating my grandma’s attic with my friends; Cooch and Mooch while she’s at work for fast cash. No holds, shipping, deliveries, trades, exchanges, or returns. I’m sorry I didn’t ask you when I bought my house but I’m not reimbursing you for gas money to come out to buy something you want.
