Description
This mic is a large-diaphragm condenser built with quality in mind: it features a 6 µm gold-evaporated Mylar diaphragm for solid definition and detail in both vocals and instruments. The electronics are Class-A FET circuitry, which gives a smooth, warm character to recordings. The body is nickel-plated brass with a stainless-steel head & grille — looks and feels solid. The polar pattern is fixed cardioid, making it easy to use and focused on the source. Requires 48 V phantom power (as expected with condenser mics). Key Features: 6 micron gold-evaporated Mylar diaphragm. Class-A FET electronics for smooth, warm sound. Transformer-coupled output (200 Ω output impedance) for compatibility and stable signal chain. Large 1″ all-brass capsule, hand-assembled and oven-baked for long-term reliability. Rugged construction: body brass, head/stainless steel grille. Frequency response: ~20 Hz–18 kHz. Great For: Home studio vocals or instrument recording Project studios where you want a nice condenser without spending thousands Capturing acoustic instruments, guitars, vocals with a character that’s warm but still clear If you’re upgrading, this can be a solid mic to pass along
