A really rare an expertly hand-carved piece, the detail is never ending and of the highest standard, there are many variations of these chairs, they were being made up until the 1950's but by that time they were much simpler without the level of detail that this chair has, this is one of the very early ones from circa 1900 This one is an all singing all dancing fully head to toe carved piece, it looks absolutely stunning from every angle and is actually quite comfortable to sit in The condition is very good.
