Introduced in 1978 the Slik 500G was the pioneer of the compact, lightweight tripod world. Weighing just 500grams ( less than 18 ounces). The tripod has a folded length of 15.8" and an extended length of 45.2". The 3-way head allows for tilt and swivel motion; portrait or landscape orientations. It has 4-section, collar-lock legs for easy height adjustments and non-slip, wear-resisting rubber feet. It has the standard 1/4-20 mounting screw. It would be perfect for your small point-and-shoot film or digital camera or as a small light stand for putting your flash in a discreet location when trying to add light to a scene.
