Produced in Japan between 1980 and 1986 when Music Technology Incorporated (MTI) owned the Ampeg brand. Specs: Power Output: 300 Watts RMS Output Impedance: 2 Ohms or 4 Ohms (selectable via a rear-panel toggle switch) Power Tubes: 6 x 6550 Driver Tubes: 2 x 12AU7, 1 x 12AX7 Preamp Tubes: 4 x 12AX7 (Unlike the 1970s models, which used 12DW7 tubes, the MTI version updated the circuit to use standard 12AX7s) Channel 1: Volume, Treble, Midrange, Bass Channel 2: Volume, Treble, Bass Midrange Frequency Selector: 3-way rocker switch (220 Hz, 800 Hz, 3000 Hz) Tone Rocker Switches: Ultra-Hi, Ultra-Lo, and Bright Weight: Approximately 85 lbs (38.5 kg) Cabinet Material: Heavy-duty birch plywood with black Tolex covering and metal corner guards
