These are designed lean your amp back and de-couple it from the floor and makes the sound more directional, especially on stage. This makes your sound much better, and can help lower your stage volume. This really helps your sound man if you have someone mixing your sound. These are used frequently in Nashville at the Grand Old Opre , All you do is set your amp on it, nothing else, more secure than tilt back legs
