DO NOT SHOP HERE !!! i bought this nissan altima a little less than a month ago and it blew up and caught fire on the highway with no warnings or lights. ive tried reaching out to them about my title so i can at least get rid of the car and they have ignored me still so i’m writing this review to warn others !!!! they scam u out of ur money for duct taped together cars that barely hold together and don’t send you ur title!

Scam Alert – Worst Dealership & Staff Ever!

This is the most unprofessional and dishonest dealership I have ever dealt with. I paid a deposit for a Nissan Altima and was told to pick it up the next day. I drove 2 HOURS to their location, only to find out they SOLD THE CAR TO SOMEONE ELSE without informing me!

Angel Johnson and Danielle V are the people working there, and they are running a scam. They only care about taking customers’ money and show zero respect for your time. When I asked for my deposit back, they refused at first and then made me wait another hour to return my own money.

On top of that, is their cars are in horrible condition and extremely overpriced. Every car they sell has hidden problems, and you’ll end up spending $1,000+ on repairs after purchase because they don’t fix anything. They admit the problems only after you buy the car!

Avoid this place at all costs. Reliable Cash Cars is NOT reliable—it’s a SCAM business with the worst customer service ever.

Using the name "Reliable cars" for this business is a flat out disgrace to the meaning of RELIABLE.  I purchased a 2004 Nissan from Reliable Cars, location on hwy 249 in March 2025. The owner needs to be out of business. They hook you with the viewing of nice looking cars but the motors in them cars are JUNK. For 4k, I made it off the lot and 2 days later, the Nissan motor put out heavy thick white smoke from the exhaust pipe till people behind me driving couldn't see. It smoke continuously. Had to spent $1,350. for repair. That's not speaking of major transmission an suspension problems NOW after the fact. I HAVEN'T enjoyed this car since day one. Once they get your money they buy more junk to sale. They buy problems cars to sell you the problems to deal with. You been warned. 😮‍💨 people working to hard to save money for someone to come an take advantage of you.

I'm going to be straight up. I had a terrible experience with this place. I bought a car from them like normal. I walked in paid cash for everything including tax, title, and paperwork.
Like normal I waited for my plates, registration, title and everything to show up which it never did. I noticed it was taken kind of long. The paper plate that I had left with was going to expire so I called in and spoke to the guy who owns the place named Hector, he assured me that it's taking longer than
usual and he's going to submit it again and make sure it gets fixed. Now I'm 6 months into waiting and still nothing is showing up and Hector is still telling me the same exact thing. Soon after he then says "we can set up an appointment for you to go down and pick up all your stuff in person there's a process that we can use, and they will know exactly why you're there and what you need at the Tax office" I said great, set it up anytime and I'll go.
For about a month straight I'm telling him to set it up and nothing happens. I'm calling regularly and they refuse to set it up they tell me "Let us know when you're available" I said set it up anytime I'm fully available. I even start telling them days and time and still nothing. Now 9 months into waiting and they have now blocked my number and won't answer my call. I filed a complaint against the dealership through Harris County/Texas which I assume
was supposed to fix everything. About 2 months go by and I hear nothing from the complaint and the person who is assigned to my case won't answer my phone call or emails I then file a second complaint, and I call the dealership itself... still nothing at all. A whole year goes by and still nothing. My money that I lost for this car is gone forever the title never showed up, the plates never showed up, the registration never showed up, and the dealership will not answer my call. I'm officially blocked off from that place. I filed a complaint against them through the state of Texas and still nothing has come from it. If I could give this place negative Stars I would because I've had to deal with a lot of rude people and liars, this entire time. I was very respectful, and they seem very friendly laughing and joking when I was first purchasing in the car. But right after that, all of this started happening plus a check engine light that came on the same day I got the car..... Crazy right!!! That's a whole other issue with them but overall, they just kept giving me excuse after excuse until eventually I can't even get in touch with them. I'm not saying don't shop here but I got messed over really really bad so now whoever is reading this will know too. On behalf of anyone who got screwed over here like me.... I feel bad that it happened to you too.
