Vintage Dante walnut and Incolay stone men's jewelry box / valet chest. Dante (a well-known men's accessories company in the mid-20th century) collaborated with Incolay Studios to produce these heavily stylized boxes. The plush royal blue velvet lining is original and in excellent, clean condition. The decorative lid features a distinctive, 3D high-relief cameo scene crafted from Incolay stone (a composite of crushed natural minerals and resins) depicting a hunting hound dog retrieving a duck amidst trees and a cloudy backdrop.
