2006 KIA Sportage

Mechanic special situation! She sounds like a tractor. I have had 3 mechanics (2 that have new jobs now and one current diesel mechanic) say its an upper engine issue. She is awesome otherwise! She can drive, but should probably be towed when you buy her (she can drive onto a trailer though!). They said it would likely be a cheaper fix ($500ish if it is the above problems) as long as you are comfortable rebuilding upper engines. She has had consistent oil changes, just got a new battery a couple months ago, had struts replaced a year or so ago, had cooling system (thermostat, timing belt, tension rod for timing belt, and water pump) replaced 8 months ago. Replaced all spark plugs and wires within the last 6 months. Replaces downstream 02 sensor within the last 2 months. Replaced tires and rear wheel bearings about 2 years. Small windshield Crack that is not currently progressing. Needs a little detail. Kelly blue books between $3000 and $3800.
